Average Workweek Data

BRIEF SUMMARY

Data reflects the month to month calculation of average hours worked by private production or non-supervisory workers, seasonally adjusted at annual rates.  This dataset begins November 5, 1998.

Average workweek data is aligned with the Employment Situation News Release from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

UPDATE FREQUENCY

The dataset is updated the day the BLS releases the current news release.
