Latest Release of the LINUX 64bit 4.6 MIM Server Binary: Version 4.6.33

This is a tar gzip file containing the bin, lib and include directories needed to run the latest MIM Server.

To download and install the binaries:

• You must be logged into the MIM DBA account.
• Put the package on the Sun server in the ~lim/xmim directory, you should see the bin, lib, include directories from here.
• Shut the server down - server.info -k
• Extract the binaries - gunzip -c xmim_4.6.33.lbin | tar xvf -
• Restart the server - start.server
• Verify the server is running - server.info

The process only takes a couple of minutes.

Latest Release of the LINUX 64bit 4.6 MIM Server System: Version 4.6.33

This is a tar gzip file containing the latest version of the complete 4.6 MIM System. This file also includes the LINUX 4x MIM Server Binary available above. This download does NOT include content for the database directories: data, dates and xmimrc.

Please refer to the documentation for installing the MIM System located in the "MIM System Administration Guide".

If this is a new install, place the downloaded file in the ~lim directory that was created in step 1 of the Installation procedures. Replace step 2 (Extracting the Tapes) with the following:

gunzip -c rel.sys.4.6_64bit_lx86 | tar xvf -

Proceed with step 3.

If this is an upgrade to an existing 4x system, do the following:

• Be sure that the prerequisites listed in the Installation instructions have been meet.
• You must be logged into the MIM DBA account.
• Put the package on the Sun server in the ~lim directory, this is the home directory of the MIM DBA account.
• Shut the server down - server.info -k
• Extract the system - gunzip -c rel.sys.4.6_64bit_lx86 | tar xvf -
• Proceed with step 3
• Verify that the remaining steps have been done
• Restart the server - start.server
• Verify the server is running - server.info
