XMIM:

XMIM requires Java 1.4.2 or higher. Java may be downloaded and installed from www.java.com. A valid license key must be obtained from LIM, Inc. in order to run the XMIM client. During installation a serial number will be provided. Send this serial number to support@lim.com and a license key will be emailed to authorized users.

Excel Add-in Data Loader Server:

*When installing Excel Add-in Release 2.4 or higher to load data you must also install the latest de-jakarta files on your server. Java J2SE Version 1.4 (or higher) Software Developer Toolkit (SDK)
is required.

• de-jakarta.tar.gz (3/5/2008, Release 1.9) - Contains jakarta-tomcat 4.1.10 (the webserver) and the dataedit.war file. Unpack in "/home/lim" with a GNU compatible version of tar.

Formula Loader/MIM File Loader and Package Maker Utility:

The Formula Loader takes formulas generated by XMIM as queries and then regenerates them in the MIM as time-series data output.  The result allows users to nest formulas and use the data output in the LIM software tools (i.e. MIMIC, Excel Add-in and XMIM).   The Formula Loader is part of an installation bundle that loads the Formula Loader, the MIM File Loader and the Package Maker utility.

Install and run the MIMIC software using the Java Network Language Protocol (JNLP). Point your internet browser to a URL address specifying the JNLP file and the Java Web Start program will connect to the server and request the MIMIC files.

Requirements: Apache Tomcat Web Server and the Web Start application.
