Run the installation program for the add-in.

The program starts and gives you a couple of warnings. Before proceeding, close all other Windows programs. Select Next to continue.

In the next screen, fill in the information. Then click Next.

The following screen is the server configuration screen. Fill in the server’s host name, port number, and server type. Generally its best to leave the check box checked so the add-in will be added to Excel automatically.

Select Next, unless you do not like the default location.

Select Next, and the program will start copying the files.

When the program attempts to add the add-in, you may be prompted to Enable Macros. They must be enabled for the program to add the add-in to Excel.

By default the install program opens a browser to the MIM Excel web site. Uncheck this if you do not wish this to happen.

Select Finish. The Excel Add-in is now installed on your machine.

Restart Excel for the change to take affect. Load Data should now be accessible as a menu item from the MIM menu.
