Running MIMIC in Excel® as an Applet (MIMICExcel)

The Java
Certificate for MIMICExcel will expire February 21, 2005. This certificate
displays when a user starts MIMICExcel, an applet running within Excel that
allows a user to have all the functionality of MIMIC while working from within
the Excel environment. Please note that users who have selected "Always" to
trust the certificate will not see the expired certificate message and will not
be required to take any action.
The following shows how to start MIMICExcel from within the Excel application:

To upgrade your certificate so that you don't receive an expired certificate
message, please go to the
Downloads page on the LIM website and download and install the latest MIMIC
application software.
Note the following:
- If the certificate displays with an expired message, MIMICExcel can still
be started by selecting "Yes" or Always".
- If a user was using the applet before the certificate expired and
selected"Always" to trust the certificate, then no dialog will display when
the certificate expires.
- MIMIC stand-alone is not affected by the expired certificate.
