Moving Retired Futures to New Category in MIM

Notification - March 2004 - LIM customer databases have all recently been upgraded to 4X MIM versions. One of the benefits of the 4X platform is that certain previous restrictions on the location of data in the MIM tree have now been removed.

As part of our ongoing desire to keep your MIM database up-to-date and make the data more accessible to users, we now intend to move all retired Futures to a new category:

TopRelation:Futures:Retired

This change will take place: April 26, 2004

Customers will not see any difference in symbols or columns, just the parent change in the hierarchy. The only likely impact would be if an XMIM query referred to the entire relation of the data in the old category path or any sub branch of the data. If queries refer directly to symbols, they will not be affected.
